DS-160 Confirmation page
After you sign and submit the DS-160, CEAC shows a confirmation page with your name, photo, Application ID and a barcode. You need it for the appointment and for the interview.
Right after submitting
- Save the page as a PDF on your computer or phone
- Use the option to email it to yourself as a second copy
- Print it on a normal printer; colour is not required
Where you need it
- When you book the interview, you enter the confirmation number
- At the interview in Ankara or Istanbul, bring the printed page with your passport
If the photo shows a placeholder
If the photo upload failed, the page shows a placeholder instead of your photo. Bring a printed photo of 5 × 5 cm (2 × 2 inches) that meets the photo rules to the interview.
If you lost it
Use retrieve on CEAC with your Application ID, surname, year of birth and security answer to open and print the page again. If that is no longer possible, a new DS-160 is needed.
